Paper Source
Paper Source is a paperie and gift retailer based out of Chicago, Illinois. It was formerly owned by a private equity firm Brentwood Associates until 2013; now it is owned by Investcorp.
Paper Source, Inc. was founded in 1983 by W. J. Mencarow, the editor of The Paper Source Journal, and Alison, his wife and business partner. Since 1981, he and his wife have been cash flow/note investors.
Since 2007, Sally Pofcher was named CEO of Paper Source.
The company currently has more than 90 stores nationwide, including about 20 locations in California.
